After a decade of positive performance in Spain, Coviran has launched its first Coviran Plus store in Portugal.
The store implements cutting-edge technology to ensure better customer service and greater profitability in the point of sale, the retailer said.
It is located in Supermercado Oceano in Albufeira in the Faro district, and is managed by retail partner José Geraldo Barreto.
The cooperative operates around 250 Coviran Plus outlets in Spain.
Store Highlights
The store features a modern exterior and provides a more accessible and comfortable shopping space, with a special focus on customer service.
The store has 500 square meters of sales area and three checkout tills, with a personalised assortment for Portuguese customers, comprising high-quality local products.
The supermarket houses a butcher's shop, delicatessen area, self-service bakery and fruit section, as well as a takeaway and cafeteria.
It also has a special section dedicated to ham, one of the most appreciated gourmet products.
The entire team of the Coviran Plus supermarket was trained at the retailer’s school of commerce in fresh products, merchandising, customer care and point-of-sale management.
