Italian grocery retailers Crai and Coralis have signed a multi-year collaboration agreement, with the goal of developing synergies on commercial and management issues.
The two groups will continue their collaboration with the Sma-Auchan purchasing group for the management of national contracts. They will also define further common opportunities in the interest of their respective sales networks, which are both active in the proximity channel.
In terms of management, the collaboration will be aimed at achieving greater efficiency and developing competitive offers for customers.
The Crai group counts on a network of over 3,400 sales points, with a multichannel distribution formula, covering food and personal/home hygiene products.
For its part, the Coralis consortium has 37 associates with a network of 690 sales points and 26 cash & carry outlets.
