Croatia’s largest food outlet Žabac has opened in Zagreb offering products discounted by up to 90%.
The store concept is the sale of surplus goods produced in factories, broken packaging and shelf products shortly before their expiration dates at significant discounts.
The second Žabac store in the Croatian capital has 300 square metres of space and is owned by the Žamboki family, reports local daily Poslovni Dnevnik.
The owners announced that they have plans to open new Žabac food outlets not only in Zagreb, but also throughout Croatia.
