To mark its recent merge with Belgian retailer Delhaize, Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn is offering its loyal customers a chance to win a shopping trip-for-two to a Delhaize supermarket in Antwerp. Following an invitation by mailing list this week, customers can register online and give their reason why they’d like to go shopping in Antwerp.
Selecting the best reasons for joining a shopping expedition to Delhaize, Albert Heijn will offer the winners a trip for two to Antwerp, which will include a tour of the selected Delhaize supermarket, a lunch and a tasting of selected Delhaize products.
At the tasting, the customers and their guests are invited to select the Belgian products they like best and would like to see added to Albert Heijn’s current product range.
Albert Heijn and Delhaize officially merged on 25 July into ‘Ahold Delhaize’. Its headquarters are in The Netherlands.
