Denmark's Dagrofa has appointed a new chief executive to its FoodService Danmark business.

He commenced his career as an associate with McKinsey, working at the group's consumer foods division in the UK, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark.
Collaboration Role
Commenting on his forthcoming role with Dagrofa, Bruun said, "I am looking forward to an exciting role, where the overall focus on collaboration with the many skilled employees and management in Dagrofa will ensure that FoodService Danmark takes advantage of its potential."
Elsewhere, Tomas Pietrangeli, the chief executive of Dagrofa (who himself was appointed in June), said that Bruun's prior experience demonstrates that "through targeted business development, profitability and growth can be created. In combination with his broad business understanding and international experience, he is the right man to lead FoodService Danmark.
"His clear goal for the company will be creating [...] a strong platform that can ensure further growth and profitability in a growing foodservice market."
