Maxima Grupė has named its chief executive Dalius Misiūnas as the new chairman of the board of Maxima LT.
Misiūnas will replace current chairperson Kristina Meidė, who will continue as a board member and CEO of Maxima LT.
Margarita Plešakienė, head of human resources at Maxima LT, will also join its board as a member, the company said.
'Strengthening Collaboration'
“With this step, we’re strengthening collaboration between the Maxima Grupė and Maxima LT teams in order to create the basis for the effective implementation of our goals of improving the quality of customer service and creating a better work environment,” Misiūnas said.
According to the CEO, the company is focused on building a unified corporate culture and empowering employees.
The retailer operates 247 stores in Lithuania, and Maxima Grupė plans to launch 120-140 stores in all markets in 2019.
