Potato products manufacturer McCain Foods has announced the appointment of Danielle Barran as its country president for Canada.
She will report to Jeff DeLapp, the president of the company’s North-American business.
Barran is a veteran in the consumer packaged goods industry, with 20 years of experience in various leadership roles. She previously held the role of vice president of commercial strategy at The JM Smucker Company.
A Tremendous Asset
DeLapp feels that Barram will be a “tremendous asset" to the Canadian business, and the company's senior leadership team in North America.
"Under Danielle’s leadership, the Canadian team will continue to foster strong customer relationships and drive innovation, further enabling the leadership position of the company and our commitment to bringing joy to families across Canada," he added.
In July of last year, McCain Foods announced plans to expand capacity at its production facility in Coaldale, Alberta, Canada, as part of an expansion drive in the country.
