Delhaize Belgium and Bol.com have teamed up for two new joint initiatives that will highlight the role of cooperation between the retailer's local brands for a seamless shopping experience.
The first initiative will involve Bol.com setting up pick-up points in all 63 Delhaize stores in the Flanders region.
From September onwards, customers will have the option to pick up Bol.com orders from any Delhaize outlet in the region for no extra fee.
The roll-out in Flanders follows a successful test project carried out in Antwerp earlier this year.
Marketing Promotion
The second initiative is a joint marketing promotion between Bol.com and Delhaize.be.
In the last two weeks of August, customers who spend at least €75 on Bol.com's 'back-to-school' assortment will win a €10 discount voucher on groceries at Delhaize’s online shopping site, Delhaize.be.
In exchange, Bol.com will issue a €10 digital gift card to customers who spend at least €75 on Delhaize.be.
Prospective Collaboration
Delhaize and Bol.com are also planning another collaboration in the run-up to Sinterklaas and Christmas.
Bol.com plans to introduce a book of toy trends and inspiration for children and parents, to be distributed at Delhaize stores in Belgium.
