Delhaize Belgium has been dealing with strike action at a number of its stores over the past few weeks, as employees react unfavorably to its Transformation Plan.
Employees have complained that the Plan, which was implemented in June 2014, is leaving stores with an inadequate staff, lacapitale.fr reports.
Agreements have reportedly been made with unions to add staff on the floor level, however union representatives will meet with Delhaize management to avoid further strikes in upcoming weeks.
Delhaize has announced that strike action was only seen in a limited number of stores and have been dealt with by management on a store-by-store basis.
