Danish retailer Dagrofa has named Niels Miles Frandsen as the new director of Dagrofa Foodservice, effective 1 April.
He succeeds Peter Bruun, who has stepped down from the role.
Most recently, Miles Frandsen served as the CEO of the foodservice company Alyasra Food in the Middle East.
Elsewhere, Richo Boss will step in as the chain director of MENY retail chain, effective 25 January.
He succeeds Kenneth Holmen Pedersen, who is set to leave the company today (22 January).
Boss currently serves as the chain director of Spar Denmark, Min Købmand and Let-Køb.
Previously, he worked with Salling Group and Coop Denmark.
'Exciting Background'
CEO of Dagrofa, Tomas Pietrangeli, commented, “Niels [Miles Frandsen] comes with an exciting background as CEO from a large international food service company in the Middle East, and I look forward to having him on the team.
“I would also like to congratulate Richo Boss, who will be involved in further developing the MENY chain. Richo has created some very impressive results in Spar, Min Købmand and Let-Køb.”
The company has initiated the process to find a new chain director for Spar Denmark, Min Købmand and Let-Køb.
The changes are part of the retailer's ‘StærkereSammen’ (Stronger Together) strategy and will strengthen its position as a food group.
