Italian regional grocery retailer and Abbi Group subsidiary, Despar Sardegna has partnered with online shopping marketplace Everli.
The partnership, initially active in three stores in the Cagliari area (Cagliari, Quartu Sant'Elena and Selargius), will allow consumers to choose from around SKUs, or 20% of the assortment in stores.
These include private-labels, such as products under the 'Cuore dell'Isola' and 'La Rosa dei Gusti' brands.
Grocery Deliveries
The online order is picked by a shopper, who goes to the store and shops for the customer and delivers it to the customer's home, or desired address, at an agreed time.
The service is active seven days a week, from 09:00 to 21:00, and same-day deliveries are also available.
Everli claims to be the only online shopping platform in Italy that allows customers to choose their favourite supermarket in their area, and benefit from exclusive promotions and choose from a wide product assortment.
In the Cagliari area, Everli works with more than ten retailers and wholesalers, including Carrefour, Conad, Coop, MD, Metro and Spazio Conad.
Partnership With Carrefour
In February of this year, Everli announced a partnership with Carrefour to offer grocery deliveries from the latter's hypermarkets and supermarkets in 10 cities across France.
The partnership will see the retailer offer up to 25,000 products from more than 140 local stores through the Everli platform.
The online supermarket platform, formerly known as Supermercato24 rebranded as Everli in 2020, following what the company said was a 'large rebranding and repositioning project'.
