Russia’s Dixy Group has launched what it describes as a series of food ‘festivals’, each of which will showcase the cuisine from a different part of Russia.
Each week, some twenty products from a particular region will be added to Dixy’s product assortment. The first festival is dedicated to cuisine from the Urals region.
“In recent years many local enterprises have actively invested in developing their production and are ready to supply high-quality products not only to their region, but also to the stores of a major federal chain,” said Ekaterina Kumanina, Dixy Group Corporate and External Communications Director.
“Developing our partnerships with new suppliers, we are happy to introduce vivid culinary specifics of various Russian regions to the country’s residents.”
Dixy Group operates more than 2,760 stores across Russia.
