Russian retailer Dixy Group has opened a new Victoria supermarket in Kaliningrad, the company announced on the weekend.
The 890 square-metre store offers 6,700 articles, including draft beer and lemonade in the in-store Victoria PUB.
There will be a revamped festive menu for New Year celebrations, featuring seven new hot dishes and seven gourmet salads. The range of meat and fish food kits has also been broadened.
In addition, customers in the region can order buffet dishes on the Victoria website, which will then be prepared and delivered to the nearest outlet by the time requested.
The chain has opened seven new facilities this year, expanding its total sales area by 12.9% to more than 83,000 square metres and creating 400 jobs.
The company recently acquired 12 properties in the Kaliningrad region, including premises from supermarket chain Sedmoy Kontinent.
