Dutch retailer Jumbo has announced plans to outsource its Human Resources and Payroll departments to Raet, a leading provider of HR services in The Netherlands, as part of a restructuring programme the group developed earlier this year.
Ton van Veen, CFO Jumbo Supermarkets, commented, "Raet has emerged as the service provider after a careful selection process. Raet is a reliable partner and a leading player in the market for HR services. I am pleased that all employees can keep their jobs and join Raet."
Raet specialises in cloud HR software and HR services, supporting more than 10,000 organisations. The company has operations in 15 countries worldwide and employs 1,100 people.
Kobe Verdonck, CEO of Raet, added: "We are pleased to start a partnership with Jumbo. The past few months have shown that there is a strong fit between Jumbo and Raet. This agreement fits perfectly into Raet's strategy as a HR Solutions Provider, based on combining leading HR software and HR Services.
