Italian food emporium Eataly is celebrating its 10 anniversary with the opening of its first store in Trieste.
The strategic location targets a potential customer base of about 3 million people, not only in Northeast Italy but also in neighbouring Slovenia, Croatia and Austria.
Eataly Trieste is located in a historic building and the whole space has a total of 3,000 square metres. Consumers have at their disposal around 4,000 quality products from all over Italy, while 200 products will be locally-sourced and from surrounding countries.
Besides the grocery store, Eataly Trieste also consists of five places of refreshment, the Illy coffee place and the wine shop with over 1,000 labels.
Eataly Trieste is the 34th store and the first in Italy’s Friuli Venezia Guilia region.
Future store openings include Verona, Moscow, Los Angeles, Toronto, Paris and London.
On occasion of its 10th anniversary (the first Eataly was opened in Turin on 27 January 2007), consumers can benefit from up to 50% off on over 1,000 iconic Italian products in stores and online.
