Italian food retailer Eataly has introduced Eataly Today, an application for direct sales and home delivery of food products and other items.
The new service is initially available only in the Milan area, and will soon be extended to Rome, Turin, Genoa and other Italian cities.
Consumers can also opt to pick up the products at the Eataly Smeraldo store in Milan.
The Eataly Today assortment includes both fresh and packaged as well as sweet and savoury products, such as bread, pasta, fruit & veg, gastronomy products. Also available are some home and personal care products.
Shipping is free for orders over €69.
Eataly Today is a separate online service to Store Online, which enables consumers to ship Eataly products in Europe and the USA.
