Italian food market and eatery, Eataly, will open its second store in New York City, on 11 August.
Eataly has invested $38 million, in the 5,000 m2 space, located in Tower 4 of the One World Trade Centre.
The marketplace will feature more than 10,000 high-quality food products, imported Italian goods and local seasonal specialties; sea salt, extra virgin olive oil, dried pasta, fresh truffles and aged balsamic vinegar, as well as products from small-scale farmers in the New York region.
The food emporium will also include; four casual restaurants, one upscale restaurant, six take-away counters and two bars (one coffee, one wine).
Like other Eataly markets across the world, Eataly NYC Downtown is dedicated to a unique theme, in this case-bread.
Visitors will be greeted with a prominent display of freshly-baked bread, made from wholesome, quality ingredients.
This will make New York the only city outside of Italy with two Eataly stores, bar Dubai.
