The ‘Chamber of Commerce and Industry’ (IHK) for Neubrandenburg (Germany), has awarded the title of 'Top Training Company' to the Malchow branch of Edeka Nord - for the third time in a row. The title can be won in an annual IHK competition, which aims to promote high standards in vocational training.
The competition is open to all training companies associated with the Neubrandenburg IHK. Judging criteria include the companies' support for individual trainees, the availability of opportunities for the trainees' personal and professional development and the supervision provided during training in the workplace.
The award was presented at the ‘House of Culture and Education in Neubrandenburg, by IHK president Dr. Wolfgang Blank and State Secretary Dr. Stephan Rudolph. It was received by Edeka Training Officer Michael Grell, Fleet Manager Jörg Hastädt and trainee Kai Johannsen.
Retailer and wholesaler Edeka Nord trades across the north of Germany with a mix of A-brands, private label- and regional products.
