Edeka Opens New Outlet In Bullay, Germany

German retailer Edeka has announced the opening of a new store in Bullay, in the western part of the country.

The new supermarket has around 1,300 square meters of sales space, featuring over 17,000 items. This includes vegan and sustainable products, regional wines, and specialities from around the world.

Store Focus

Special focus has been placed on local fruit and vegetables, and new service counters for fresh meat, fish, bakery products, and cheese have been installed.

In addition, the new supermarket has an information desk and an accessible customer toilet, and two employees are responsible for helping customers with questions about health and nutrition.

In terms of sustainability, environmentally-friendly technology has been installed, such as a heat recovery system.
