Eroski has invested €17 million to refurbish its supermarkets in Bizkaia, Spain, creating over 200 jobs, the company has said.
The latest refurbished store is located in Zalla, where the company has invested over €1 million to change to the 'Contigo' banner.
With the revamp of the Zalla store, Eroski now has 45 supermarkets that has change their model to 'Contigo', a format that is focused on fresh products. The refurbishments focused particularly on the fresh departments in the store.
In total, the company operates 125 supermarkets and 10 hypermarkets in Bizkaia.
