Spanish retailer Eroski has announced that it has lowered the price on thousands of products across its stores in order to further commit to its plans to save money for customers.
Customers of the cooperative will see lower prices on up to 7,000 products in its hypermarkets and 1,000 products in its supermarkets.
Eroski marketing director Eva Ugarte said, "This generalised fall in prices at Eroski is a further step in our commitment to transfer savings to consumers with the aim of contributing to their well-being and quality of life."
“We have lowered prices for the improvements achieved in our supply chain and our customers will be able to find their preferred products from manufacturers and own brands, now with lower prices.”
Creating Savings
Eroski says that it has saved families over €260 million during the past year through promotions aimed at its customer partners.
The Spanish retailer recently announced the launch of its new credit card for Eroski Club members, which further allows customers to save money - even when shopping in different stores.
