Poland’s Eurocash Group has announced that it has commenced the rebranding of its ABC grocery store chain.
The project will see the group switch to yellow and green brand colours and adopt a new logo.
Independent entrepreneurs will also be able to personalise their stores by displaying an additional name along with the name of the chain and its tagline.
The retailer plans to gradually introduce the changes across all ABC outlets in the country.
'Special Role Of The Store Owner'
General director of Eurocash Cash & Carry, Małgorzata Obrębska, explained, “The change in the visualisation of stores is to show the advantage resulting from the special role of the store owner and his outlet among local communities. It is entrepreneurs who guard the local needs of their clients and build their brand, and we, as the organiser of the network, want to support them in this.
“The owner of the store will decide which changes he or she wants to use and to what extent. The ABC banner guarantees support to independent retailers, access to the best commercial solutions and the possibility of offering price and promotional benefits due to the scale of the group.”
Other Highlights
As part of the project, store owners will also be able to introduce a number of modifications to the interiors of their outlets.
The retailer will provide, among others, new sales counters and racks for displaying fruit and vegetables.
It will also offer solutions aimed at improving the visibility of the products to support seasonal sales or promotions.
The remodelled ABC stores will also focus on promoting local suppliers and products.
So far, the ABC chain has opened two outlets based on the new design, the retailer added.
