Finnish retailer Kesko has announced the appointment of Karoliina Partanen (pictured) as its new senior vice president, communications and identity and Eeva Salmenpohja as its new vice president, public affairs.
Both appointments will commence as of 1 November 2017.
Executive Experience
Partanen previously worked as the vice president of communications at Kesko’s grocery trade division.Before joining Kesko, Partanen held various executive positions in global communications, marketing and brand management at Metso Corporation, and worked for the management consultancy Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller as Senior Advisor.
Salmenpohja, meanwhile, joined Kesko in February of this year, having previously worked for the Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services and in various labour and education policy expert positions at Akava and the Finnish Association of Business School Graduates.
