Naples-based convenience store brand Flor do Cafè has partnered with Italian retailer Multicedi, part of the Végé convenience network, which boasts over 1,450 outlets.
Flor do Cafè, a historic brand in the Naples area with about 15 outlets, becomes a shareholder of Multicedi as part of the move, as well as using it as logistics platform and distribution centre.
With over 60 years of activity, Flor do Cafè launched as a bar before expanding to a neighbourhood store, betting on quality, convenience and fresh products.
With over 400 outlets, both fully owned and franchised, Multicedi operates three store networks – Decò (four different formats), AdHoc Cash&Carry and Ayoka – in 8 regions of Center-South of Italy (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Lazio, Molise, Puglia, Sicily). Multicedi has a 18 per cent share of the local market, with a 2015 turnover of €700 million.
