Footfall in Spanish shopping centres has shown declining figures for two consecutive months.
As reported by lainformacion.com, the figure saw a reduction of 5.3% between August and September, compared to July, and it also dropped compared to inter-annual rates, by 0.3%.
While July saw a positive increase in footfall of 15.7%, in good part motivated by the sales season, the close of this period has affected the subsequent footfall rates, breaking a streak of five months of consecutive growth.
It is expected that the figures will improve as the Christmas season approaches.
