Internet retailing giant Amazon has announced that Doug Gurr is to replace Steve Frazier as the new president of Amazon China.
Gurr previously worked for Walmart-owned Asda as an executive and board member of the supermarket chain.
Frazier led Amazon's Chinese operations for the past two and half years.
He will transfer back to the Seattle headquarters to continue as global vice president of the international business unit, said the company.
Frazier will have responsibility for business expansion in international markets.
Gurr will up his new position from September 1.
He joined Amazon UK in 2011 as global vice president.
Amazon has operated in the Chinese Internet retailing market for the past decade.
