Le Groupement des Mousquetaires has opened its fourth 24/7 Intermarché Express collection facility, in Paul Bert, Lyon.
The site, open to click-and-collect customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is equipped with units for goods which need to be stored frozen, goods which need to be refrigerated, as well as for ordinary dry SKUs. One can collect one’s goods from the centre at any hour, day or night.
'This point-of-sale follows its [Intermarché Express’s] precursors in that it caters for people working long or irregular hours, with very busy lifestyles, to which standard retail points are not adapted,' said le Groupement des Mousquetaires, as quoted by LSA.fr.
Four such Intermarché Express units are now in Lardy in l’Essonne, Libourne, Guillestre (Hautes Alpes) and Lyon (Rhône). The first of these opened in March 2015.
