The newest service from French retailer Franprix, ‘Matin’, will allow its Paris-based customers to have breakfast delivered to their home or workplace.
It offers freshly baked croissants along with other bread-based items, accompanied by freshly pressed organic orange juice, yoghurts, and fruits.
The supermarket chain has launched this service based on the belief that many people in the modern French workforce don't have time to prepare a proper breakfast.
The breakfast goods will be delivered 45 minutes after an order is placed, or alternatively, an order can be placed a day or more in advance.
Three varieties are available: ‘Essential’, ‘Complete’, and ‘Gourmet’ (for sharing). They retail at €5.99, €6.99 and €17.99 respectively.
‘Essential’, the basic offering, contains a croissant or pain au chocolat, a 33ml organic orange juice, a natural or vanilla yoghurt, and a piece of seasonal fresh fruit.
The delivery window stretches between 7.45 am and midday. Most of Paris’s arrondissements can avail of the service.
