German drugstore chain Rossmann has posted sales growth of 5.7%, to €10 million, in its financial year 2019.
In Germany, the company saw a year-on-year sales growth of 5.1% to €7 billion during this period.
Its stores in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey, Albania, and Kosovo saw sales increase by 7.1% to €3 billion.
The company operates more than 4,088 stores in seven European countries and employs around 56,200 people, including 33,400 in Germany.
The drugstore chain aims to invest €200 million during the current financial year to launch 200 new stores, including 80 in Germany.
