Auchan is to effect an executive management reshuffle and restructuring, with changes in many of its key senior positions, lsa-conso.fr reports.
Groupe Auchan will henceforth carry the name Auchan Holding.
Its subsidiary Immochan, (the newly created) Auchan Retail and its bank Banque Accord will gain a new degree of autonomy, with each given its own chain of management.
Auchan Russia’s head Wilhelm Hubner will take control of Auchan Retail, Benoît Lheureux will lead Immochan, and Jean-Pierre Viboud will lead Banque Accord.
Xavier de Mézerac, Auchan’s current chief fincancial officer, will be secretary general of Auchan Holdings, which oversees the activity of the three departments. In addition, Patrick Espasa, current head of Auchan Italy, has been promoted to head of Auchan France.
