HMY Expands Business In Morocco – A Market With New Retail Opportunities

    Morocco is a growing market and plays a strategic role within this region, due to important developments in the retail sector that have been taking place in recent years.

    HMY, an international leader in global services with a 360º vision and innovation for retail, has been working for several years out of its office in Casablanca, in Morocco, to contribute to this development.

    Diverse Projects

    It has participated in diverse projects with various retail companies, which has allowed it to acquire a broad view of this unstoppable evolution.

    One of its latest projects is Olympe, a major sports retail client in Morocco.

    HMY has been involved in the development, production, and installation of furniture that the company displays in its stores, with the goal of guaranteeing quality products and services developed in the Cariñena centre, in Zaragoza.

    Customised Solutions

    The implementation of customised solutions has brought a very positive result, and there is now a plan to integrate these concepts into more of the company’s stores in the short term.

    HMY has also developed an important project with Label Vie, a Moroccan food group linked to Carrefour since 2009, in which it has participated as the furniture and commercial equipment supplier in some of Carrefour’s hypermarkets and supermarkets under the Label Vie brand.

    These projects have incorporated distinguishing elements, such as the P-25 shelving model, the Alura range for checkouts, and, as a decorative accessory, Zenith-laminated ceilings with a scalable cladding system in the walls.

    Something similar has been accomplished with the Marjane group in two of its Marjane hypermarkets and in eight Azima supermarkets, where HMY has taken care of the incorporation of these elements and their assembly in its entirety.

    Exploring The DIY Sector

    In addition, HMY in Morocco has also marked its presence in the DIY (do-it-yourself) sector, thanks to clients such as Mr Bricolage and Bricodeco, which are at the forefront of the DIY model.

    The company used its expertise to incorporate the latest developments in the 2,000-square-metre space of the first Bricodeco store in the country, fully commissioning the assembly and execution of the project.

    The projects in Morocco show HMY’s commitment to this thriving market.

    Therefore, HMY will continue to take steps to consolidate its position as a leader in the sector and set a benchmark in the retail world by creating value and backing innovative solutions that allow it to adapt to the needs of all its clients.
