Austrian retailer Hofer, a sister supermarket chain to Germany’s Aldi Süd, has announced the completed reconstruction of its outlet in Telfs, near Innsbruck.
The store will be reopened this Thursday, 27 July, after being closed for seven weeks.
Store Features
In addition to bakery products such as bread and pastries, the new supermarket will offer customers various snacks and drinks, including wine. Fresh fruits and vegetables will be displayed in a market-style section. Hofer also announced that a majority of its fresh products and baked goods are grown and delivered by local producers.
In order to generate a sustainable energy supply for the store, LED lighting has been installed. The new outlet is part of Hofer’s modernisation and expansion programme; the store is the fifth to be modernised in the Tirol region this year.
In 2016, the retailer opened 15 new outlets and modernised more than 30.
