Frozen food retailer Iceland Foods has entered into a new franchise partnership with Alliance that will see new stores open across Jersey and Guernsey in the Channel Islands in 2025.
The partnership with Alliance will see Iceland Foods focusing on delivering quality and affordability.
Iceland Foods plans to open The Food Warehouse in Guernsey – the first outside of the UK – at the start of 2025.
The Food Warehouse operates more than 180 stores in Britain and offers a wide range of products across frozen, chilled, fresh, branded grocery and homeware lines.
Alliance will offer product ranges from Iceland Foods' assortment, including exclusive brands – TGI Fridays, Greggs and My Protein – seasonal merchandise, and an extended value range in select stores across the Channel Islands.
Justin Addison, international and partnerships director at Iceland Foods, stated, “Partnering with Alliance is a significant step forward for us in the Channel Islands.
“We’re delighted to work with Alliance to continue providing our customers in the Channel Islands with Iceland’s range of innovative, value-driven products.”
Alliance also will begin to stock select items from Iceland’s Christmas range from 11 November 2024.

Currently, Iceland Foods operates 10 franchise stores in the Channel Islands in partnership with Sandpiper CI.
All of these stores are scheduled to close over the next 12 months, following Morrisons' acquisition of Sandpiper CI's franchise operations in the Channel Islands in May of this year.
Andrew Bagot, managing director of Alliance, stated, “We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Iceland and bring their much-loved products to communities across Jersey and Guernsey.
“Together, we’re making it easier than ever for households in the Channel Islands to enjoy Iceland’s fantastic range, from everyday essentials to seasonal favourites.”
