French retail group Les Mousquetaires has invested €1 million to remodel one of its Intermarché hypermarkets in Portugal, located in Campo Maior.
The store, which reopens this week, has undergone a major refurbishment project, enlarging the sales area to 664 square metres.
It features a new concept that allows for simpler and quicker shopping in a more modern and comfortable environment, according to the retailer.
Store Features
The new space includes a cafeteria and take away services, a wine cellar, alternative food options and a new area for fresh products.
The Campo Maior hypermarket will also provide customers with an online store, which features home delivery and a 'click and collect' service.
Currently, the retail banner operates 245 stores in Portugal, with an expansion plan running from 2015-2020, which foresees the opening of 63 new stores by 2020 and an investment of €200 million.
