Intermarché Portugal has opened a new store in the city of Caldas da Rainha that combines the essence of traditional markets with modern innovations.
The company has invested €4million in the 1,490 square-metre store, which is expected to create around 60 new jobs.

Daniel Marta, the owner of the new Intermarché of Caldas da Rainha, explained, "The opening of this new commercial area demonstrates our commitment to provide the best services and products at the best prices for our customers in our region.”
The new store has a commercial area that offers various facilities including a cafeteria, catering and takeaway zone, self-service laundry, caravan park, electric car loading, florist, ATM, and pharmacy.
The new store has incorporated a modern and functional approach that offers consumers a faster and practical shopping experience.
