Italian regional cooperative and retailer Nova Coop has launched a new superstore in Turin.
Located in Via Botticelli, the store has been designed to offer consumers an innovative shopping experience, including a range of information and consulting services, opportunities to discover new products, and an all-day catering service.
Store Features
The design of the store has been inspired by the concept of ‘Presto e Bene’ - Fast and Good - which aims to provide customers with a simple and rewarding shopping experience.
The store was developed by the Retail Design studio, along with support from Kiki lab and Kkienn.
Digital Services
The store offers a totem touch screen service, Zero Waiting, that allows customers to select and reserve products in desired quantities, and withdraw them when notified by a message, without having to wait for their turn at the desk.
Elsewhere, geolocation services help customers to locate their products with ease, thereby saving time in the store.
Experiential Activities
The store also offers experiential activities, such as tastings and show cooking, to introduce customers to the wide range of products offered.
Twice a week, the store will host Info.food - the free nutritional advice service at Coop’s sales points, which was launched in March 2018.
The store is also home to a 50-seater restaurant, that offers a selection of dishes that are suitable for lunch and dinner.
