Retailer Pam Panorama is planning to open eight new Pam Local convenience stores this month, in the Italian cities of Bologna, Padua, Milan and Turin.
The retailer aims to reach its target of opening 100 outlets under the banner by the end of this year.
Convenient Shopping
Practicality, comfort and convenience are the three distinctive characteristics of the format, which also offers extended opening hours of up to 10:00 pm, every day of the week.
The Pam Local outlets offer more than 3,500 products in a store area of just 250 square metres. The product range includes basic items, fresh products and organic foods, as well as a high number of products bearing IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) and DOP (Denominazione d’Origine Protetta) certification.
The assortment will also offer a wide range of fibre-rich products, including biscuits, breakfast cereals, flours, bread, pasta and rice.
Offers and Discounts
Shopping at Pam Local will also allow consumers to avail unique offers and save money on groceries.
The 'Prezzo Promessa' campaign offers guaranteed low prices on a selected range of articles all through the year. The 'Menu Facili e Veloci' promotion gives discounts on ingredients for selected recipes every 15 days.
Consumers can also avail home delivery services and make payments electronically through Satispay or Apple Pay.
The Pam Local format was rolled out nearly five years ago, with its first store in Bologna. Since then, the group has witnessed steady growth for the format in north and central Italy.
