Jamie Oliver and Dutch supermarket Jumbo have developed a new range of 'nearly-ready' meals together. The 'Jamie & Jumbo' nearly-ready range is available from all Jumbo stores and online, from Jumbo.com and Jumbo app.
The new range consists of over 30 meal-kits, providing fresh produce, which can quickly be prepared into salads, soups or oven-dishes with a few additional ingredients. Dishes include 'Crazy Rainbow Carrots', 'Warming Pumpkin Soup' and 'Amazing Beef Casserole'.
"Just like Jamie Oliver we like to make cooking healthier food easy and fun," said Ed van de Weerd, Commercial Director of Jumbo. "Which is why our team (...), working together with Jamie Oliver, has developed over thirty tasty, healthy and affordable dishes.
Jamie Oliver commented, "Healthy eating is very important. I want to inspire as many people as possible to get started with good and fresh ingredients, so that they can discover how 'delicious' and 'healthy' can go together."
Jumbo currently runs 580 stores, including three food-markets. In addition, it operates 275 Pick-Up points for goods ordered online and a home-delivery service.
