Dutch supermarket chain Jumbo and HR service-provider Raet have signed the final agreements regarding the outsourcing of the retailer's HR and payroll departments. The CEO and CFO of both companies signed off on the deal at the chain's headquarters in Veghel, on 9 December.
All twenty HR and payroll employees will rejoin their departments, in the employ of Raet, on 2 January 2017. The transaction is part of a restructuring initiative which Jumbo announced earlier this year. It is aimed at improving efficiency within the organisation. Financial details about the transaction were not released.
Raet's CEO, Kobe Verdonck, welcomed the partnership with the Dutch company. "With our leading software and high quality HR services we will assist Jumbo well in the further optimisation of its organisation," he said.
