Dutch supermarket group Jumbo has announced the opening of its first store in Heerlen, in the south east of The Netherlands, on June 1st next.
The store, Jumbo Maanplein Heerlen aan Spoorsingel, will feature an extensive range of fresh departments, including a sushi preparation area and pizza kitchen, and cover 2,700 square metres of space.
The store is also equipped with a pickup point for Jumbo.com customers.
"The new shop is beautiful," commented manager Tim Leduc. "Together with my team, I look forward to let customers experience the unique aspects of the Jumbo formula: the lowest price, the widest range and best service."
