As part of its recently launched 'Easily Ordered, Quickly Delivered' campaign - in collaboration with racing driver Max Verstappen - Dutch retailer Jumbo has announced that it is further extending its home-delivery service, to include 100 locations before the end of 2016.
Customers in the cities and districts of Goes, Nijmegen and Breda will be the first to avail of the extended service, which is part of the company's new 'omni-channel strategy'.
"We are extremely pleased with the results we have achieved since the expansion of our delivery service. As a figurehead of our campaign, Max Verstappen this has undoubtedly had a very positive impact and has encouraged many people to place an online order on Jumbo.com.," said Jurriaan Pouw, Director of E-commerce for Jumbo Supermarkets.
To entice more customers to shop online, the company currently offers a free miniature of a Formula-1 'Max Verstappen' racing car with online orders from €80 (while stocks last).
Jumbo Supermarkets operates around 580 stores and Food Markets in The Netherlands, as well as 285 Pick Up Points for online groceries.
