The latest Kantar Worldpanel market share figures in the UK indicate that during the last 12 weeks, the rate of sales-decrease of Tesco and Asda reduced.
On a like-for-like basis, Tesco’s sales dipped 0.6 per cent, while those of Asda went down by 2.7 per cent.
Rival Morrisons, which is enjoying a period of notable improvement, saw its sales decrease only by 0.1 per cent on a like-for-like basis.
Aldi registered a sales growth of 16.6 per cent. Lidl sales were up 11.3 per cent.
