Finnish retail group Kesko has posted sales of €1,003.8 million for the month of March 2017, an increase of 30.5% when compared to the same period last year.
Grocery sales, in particular, totalled €467.8 million in March, which represents growth of 13.1%.
"Kesko's sales in March increased in all divisions," said Mikko Helander, Kesko President and CEO.
"Growth was significantly strengthened by the acquisitions of Suomen Lähikauppa, Onninen and AutoCarrera. In March, comparable sales performance as well was good in both the grocery trade, the building and technical trade and the car trade."
