French retailer Leclerc has added a dry cleaning service to its click-and-collect programme in certain areas, including Brittany, with the possibility that the new service could be made available on a larger scale, Linéaires.com reports.
Shoppers use the retailer’s online platform to select how many garments, and which kind(s) of garments they wish to be dry cleaned, as they place their order for a food collection. As they pick up their shopping at a Leclerc click-and-collect point, they deposit their apparel, and return three days after to redeem it dry cleaned.
It has been decided that this service will become effective in the Pont-l'Abbé area of Brittany, in two of the supermarket chain’s click-and-collect sites – those in Plonéour-Lanvern and Plomeur respectively.
