Lekkerland Nederland B.V. has announced the appointment of Freek van Beek as its new country manager.
Van Beek joined the wholesale group four years ago, in the Netherlands, as a member of its purchasing and category management team.

Chief executive of Lekkerland Group, Patrick Steppe, said, "I am very happy that Freek is taking on the responsibility for Lekkerland Nederland B.V. as Country Manager.
"Freek, knowing the company very well from the inside, brings with him all the requirements and experience that are needed for this position."
He will also continue to function in his present role until a successor is appointed, the company said.
Van Beek will succeed Henk-Jan Peterse, who is stepping down from the position on 31 December due to health reasons.
"I would like to thank Henk-Jan for the many years of good and committed work together. Henk-Jan will continue to be available to us in the future," Steppe added.
