Russian retailer Lenta has launched a 'Happy Birthday' campaign, which will provide its 11.5 million loyalty card holders with a special discount on their birthday.
The 15% discount will cover all products ranges, including items that already involved with different promotions. In addition, the offer will be valid for a week on either side of the customer's birthday. It will be rolled out in all of Lenta's stores, across 79 cities in Russia.
“Lenta is constantly looking at more ways to reward customer loyalty,” said the company’s customer loyalty director Chris Newbery. “Our technical capabilities enable us to use data as a marketing tool to drive targeted offers.”
Retail Discounts
Lenta's loyalty programme allows cardholders to receive a 5% discount on all products in its hypermarkets and supermarkets, as well as up to 70% off with certain in-store promotions.
Active cardholders also are provided with tailored offers for products previously purchased in Lenta stores, and receive coupons at the checkout, offering discounts on their next purchases.
