Russian retailer Lenta has opened another supermarket in St. Petersburg, bringing the total to 13, the company announced on Friday.
The newest addition is a medium format supermarket in Raketa shopping mall, encompassing 1,250 square metres with 743 square metres of selling space.
A selection of 4,700 SKUs, including Lenta's private label and federal product ranges, will be available.
It is Lenta's 18th supermarket opening in 2016. The retailer has exceeded its 2016 goal to double the number of supermarket openings compared to 2015.
Lenta now has 190 hypermarkets in 77 cities throughout Russia, as well as 50 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Central region.
The company also opened its 36th supermarket in Moscow, another medium format store with 822 square metres of selling space located in the Yuzhnyi microdistrict.
