Lidl Portugal has opened its 241th unit in Matosinhos, which featured a new store concept that aims to provide a simplified and convenient shopping experience.
With a sales area of 1,400 square metres, the Lidl store in Matosinhos São Mamede de Infesta is focused on simplicity and efficiency, providing customers with a fast and comfortable shopping experience. The new space also features emotive messages and content reflecting Portuguese traditions.
This new outlet boasts an innovative architectural design with wider aisles and a glass facade, which gives a greater brightness to the store.
There is also a focus on energy efficiency through the use of a photovoltaic system that boasts significant improvements in thermal insulation. The store also opted for exclusive use of LED lighting.
Over the past two years, Lidl Portugal has remodelled about 60 stores, representing an investment of €60 million.
