Lidl Italia has launched a new innovative store format in Bologna, in the Navile district.
The supermarket has a sales area of 1,400 square metres and is set across two floors.
The ground floor has a car park with more than 100 parking spaces, while the upper floor hosts a large and bright sales area. The store features a modern design and intuitive product layout. In addition, a well-stocked bakery department offers bread, croissants and other sweet and savoury delicacies.
Energy Saving
A 45 kW photovoltaic plant and an electrical/hybrid car charging point are featured as part of the building's construction. In line with Lidl's growing attention to environmental sustainability, the store features large windows to favour natural light filtering and a so-called 'green roof', with living plants.
About 1,800 products can be found on the store's shelves, of which over 80% are of Italian origin. This includes the Italamo gourmet private label line.
