Lidl has become the only retailer in Slovenia to win an 'AAA' Gold Certificate of Excellence. The distinction was awarded by Bisnode, a local partner of credit risk company Dun & Bradstreet.
The certificate recognises companies that score an above-average credit rating for three consecutive years. It is determined by examining the financial statements for the last financial year and the forecast operational security over the next 12 months.
Such companies represent the 'most reliable, credible and low-risk business entities for cooperation with all business partners, including clients, customers, suppliers, as well as insurance companies, banks and other business partners', according to a Lidl Slovenia statement.
Lidl has been present in Slovenia since 2007 and currently has 49 supermarkets.
